Frequently Asked Question
I am having sound issues on my computer

If your computer is not playing any sounds, then there are a few things that you could check: You must check with a known good set of head phones/speakers before turning in a ticket!
1. Check to make sure the Windows volume control is not muted or turned down too low. To do this, click the speaker icon that's near the clock on your computer.
2. Check to make sure the speakers are plugged in correctly and turned on. The speakers should be plugged in to the green audio plug on the back of your computer. If the speakers have a power cord, make sure that it is plugged in and that the speakers are turned on. If the speakers have their own volume control, make sure that it is not turned down too low.
3. Check to make sure the particular audio application that you are using (such as Windows Media Player) is not muted and that its volume is not turned down too low.
